Supporting local community is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we’re proud to partner with the Bendigo Braves and Red Energy Arena to make a lasting impact across Bendigo and Central Victoria.
Our connection with the Braves has grown over many years and in 2022 we expanded our support to include Red Energy Arena – a standout facility that’s become a centrepiece for sport and community events in the region. As one of the premier sporting venues in regional Australia, it welcomes over 20,000 visitors each week and plays a vital role in Bendigo not just as a home for elite sport, but as a vibrant hub for events and community connection.
Through the support of partnerships like this, we’re able to bring the Fresh Fruit Friday program to schools each week, promoting healthy eating among local children. The Braves are key supporters of this initiative, with players visiting schools (during school terms) to hand out fresh fruit and encourage healthy habits in a fun and engaging way.
We’re also thrilled to have Cassidy McLean, a respected local leader and elite athlete, continuing as our Fresh Fruit Friday Ambassador in 2025. Cass brings energy and purpose to the role and her ongoing passion for health, community and sport make her the ideal advocate to inspire the next generation to live active, healthy lives!
